Assuming all else is equal, including the integrity and competence of the person
in question, I would probably prefer an LDS partner for the reasons you mention. It would probably be on a “list”, just very far down that list.
But given that it’s nearly impossible to assess whether all the other, more important stuff is actually equal, it doesn’t make much of a difference as a practical matter.
