He actually didn’t say “I agree”. His exact verbiage was “I will note your
request on the file when it comes time to draft the listing documents”.
At the time I took this to mean tacit acceptance of my terms but in retrospect it seems like he could have just been delaying the final negotiation until we were ready to list.
I don’t know, maybe I’m just reading into it what I want to read into it, but it definitely wasn’t a “yes”.
