Question for the Oregonians here.

I just drove across Oregon today between Portland and Eugene then to the coast. I noticed the “Speed 55” signs all the way but traffic was moving at 70-80 the entire way. I didn’t see a single highway patrol car or sheriff pulling anyone over.

Is this typical?

It was crazy. Posted speeds were completely ignored by most drivers.
