Love the optimism. The Jets franchise just has not shown itself to be well run.
They are like the old Clippers under the ownership of Donald Stirling before he sold the team. Atrociously run franchise.

The Johnson brothers have owned the team since 2000 and have royalty sucked it up in those 20 years. They aren’t quite as incompetent or unsavory as Donald Stirling, but they simply have not run the franchise well. Tons of poor management decisions. They are heirs to the Johnson and Johnson pharma fortune and are silver spooners who are not nearly as business savvy as their great grandfather. One of them even left the Jets to serve as a US ambassador for 3 years. I’m sure that really helped the franchise to have him gone all that time.

The reality is, barring some major change in their management decisions, or some stroke of luck with their new coaches, GM, or high draft picks (including Zach), they will continue to suck rocks.

I’d much rather see Zach with the Niners.
