I assume that if a country is still not allowing people from the US to visit, this includes a layover at the airport on way to a country that does allow travel. Am I wrong?
I saw a killer airfare (around $650) from LAX-Dubai, but it goes though Frankfort or Toronto. Dubai is open if you have had a negative covid test within a certain amount of time before arrival. I have had both shots now and want some overseas travel. There is still the more expensive non-stop from LAX-Dubai. I guess I can still do that.
What I really wanted to do was SLC-LAX then a multi-city LAX-Dubai, Dubai-Dayton ($642) where I would then go to Kings Island and Cedar Point and Strickers Grove, and then fly home from Ohio to SLC. If I have to fly back to LAX, that makes the Ohio part difficult. There are other non-stop options, I suppose. Stupid covid.
