I rarely play in handheld mode, so use a pro controller. We got a switch day one
With multiple extra joy cons. They almost all have major drift issues, some are impossible to use. We have slowly built up our collection of Pro Controllers to compensate.
I agree it is very disappointing, and not what we are used to from Nintendo.
