I just woke up from a dream. Apparently I was on the BYU football team.
It was our home opener against number 2 Georgia. I was the starting running back. During the first quarter I had two touchdowns. I guess the coaches were so pleased with my play that they also put me in on defense as free safety. As free safety I had one Pick 6 and another interception during the second quarter. The Georgia player who tackled me on my second interception gave me a real cheap shot in my ribs. I didn't react but stood up and helped him up off the field lending him my hand. Apparently this gesture of kindness broke him down a little bit and he teared up and said he was sorry and that he was just frustrated cuz they were losing so badly.

We were up 48 to 14 at halftime. We went into the locker room and it was just rambunctious with joy. I got presented with a ribbon at halftime. It was some sort of reward for being the best combination offensive and defensive player. It was presented by Lavell Edwards. I answered a few questions from reporters and then I opened up my phone to look at cougarboard. I wanted to see all the adulation I was getting.

I had no idea I had such inflated view of myself and pandered to such worldly accomplishments. But it was a good dream
