Saw a picture of Conover recently, and thought, hey: he kind of looks like the new Cap. Then I thought, sure, but Conover is nothing like the new Cap in the show. I mean it's not like he:

Is trying to take over for a larger-than-life pretty boy super hero.

Has to compete with the most likely candidates for the job that worked with the guy he's trying to replace. Both of the other guys competing for the job are super talented, likeable, and have had their moments. The one who appears to be the most likely successor is black.

Nope, no similarities here. Also, it's been said on here a lot, but the new show is lame so far. Hope it gets better.
