my son back to fix his droid that broke when they were assembling it with him and we didn't realize it until we were out of the park. I went back today to talk to someone in person (didn't have tickets so had to stay on the outside side of the guest relations office). She was super friendly right out of the gate and very helpful. We waited in the shade while she kept coming back to ask questions. She eventually took the droid back to the Droid Depot and got it fixed. While she was gone my mom called me in tears asking for help writing my sister's obituary. Of course I then started crying and then the employee came back and began asking about our trip. I was honest about how hard it's been and she was super empathetic. We were getting ready to leave when she asked us to wait a minute longer. She came back with a $500 Disney gift card and I started tearing up.
There were a few others today but that one was pretty cool. It made my wife cry as well. Disney's guest relations have been amazing the last few days. I have another story I'll post later as we're about to board our flight home and I hate typing posts on my phone.
