Spanish speakers, I speak Portuguese but trying to learn Spanish a bit for a trip to Bolivia. Is LL being like a Y or
like a J a regional accent thing or is there some rule when it sounds like a Y and when it sounds like a J?

I am using the Babel language learning app and they seem to go back and forth inconsistently when they make it sound like a J and when they make it sound like a Y.

Is it almost always one or the other within a country or region? So like maybe everyone in Andes, Bolivia will always be more Y?
