Yes we can still have special seasons here and there but I think it takes someone special to be able to deal with a fan base that is world wide and there is zero break.

I think you saw that in Bronco. It doesn’t matter if you love him or hate him, he got burned out and realized that no matter how hard he worked, the results were roughly going to be the same, with a special season here and there. At Virginia, Bronco can just be a football coach. He doesn’t have to worry about any church aspect regarding his job.
Now with Coach Pope, I don’t think he seriously considered the Arizona job, but I could easily see him moving on in 5ish years and saying...I did all I could, I want to triple my salary and not have to worry about people on Sunday.

Loyalty is great and all but I think 99.9 percent of us would move in a heart beat if offered 3-4 times your current salary.
