NCAA is a joke

Let me get this straight. Nick Emery takes an improper benefit that the program has nothing to do with, the school promptly reports it, and BYU vacates almost an entire season of wins. Meanwhile a USC coach is arrested by FBI agents as part of a major corruption and bribery investigation, and USC gets probation and a couple of scholarships taken away? Am I missing something important here?
