The top is stacked, but then they would be playing St Francis College, Lindenwood University, and Pain College type schools. It would be like Alabama and Ohio State playing against Ball State and Southern Utah. It would be really, really ugly and zero fun for anyone involved.

BUT, if more money got pumped into volleyball, I think there's the talent in the US to have a really good tournament. There is a lot of really good talent at the club level that goes to waste. Guys would rather go to good schools closer to home than go to some crappy school to play volleyball. If all the best guys from the club level played at DI/DII schools, we could have a pretty awesome tournament.
