Exactly. It’s what killed the card industry in the late 80s and 90s.
The card industry was killing it and the companies started mass producing these cards on a grand scale and the cards lost their value and no one was interested anymore.

I went to a card shop a few years ago and there was a huge sign on the front door that says “We do not buy baseball cards from 87’ to 93’ “ and I asked the owner about and he said it’s because they are essentially worthless.
