I don’t understand why teams put a defensive shift on a hitter then the pitcher
pitches the ball over the outside portion of the plate, allowing the hitter to hit the ball to the opposite side where there are the fewest fielders. Yeah I know pitchers miss their spots, but to do it on two hitters in a row!
