"the other" ... those others are NOT humans like you ... so no moral issue....
They are "the other" ...
they might be "Yellow menace" or "Anglo invaders" or "Jewish filth"... but they certainly aren't human like "you and your people"
they might be "communists" or "capitalists" or "socialists" or "corporatists" ... but they aren't human like "you and your people"
they might be "rednecks" or "deplorables" ... but they don't matter as much as the people you are a part of ... because they inferior in some way.
I WISH I could agree with that is is amazing .... but I think it is actually really really common ....
the dehumanization of "the other" and the promotion of "xxxx matters and zzzz doesn't matter" is, I fear, the single most common political motivating theme that politicans use ALL THE TIME to get power.

I don’t know but it is amazing to me how humans can get to a point where they murder and torture others and feel morally
