Same here regarding cars. I don't buy used cars anymore. I'm not a car guy so
fixing stuff was getting too expensive. We typically buy a brand new family car every few years. Buyback amounts have been great and I love having a warranty.
We usually lease a reasonable commuter car - though I'm rethinking that now that I'm not commuting to the office every day.
