Saw a Netflix doc called "Unwell" that showed the pros/cons of Ayahuasca and it's pretty fascinating.

I haven't had any experience like you've described but have come to similar conclusions about our realities being constructions and it's part of why people have such a difficult time communicating about religion, politics, etc. They literally have alternate realities.
