Why not number format (or format cells > number) > Date > Type 5 or 6?
Am I missing something? It shouldn’t be that difficult.

I think the leading single quote is going to be a problem

I think the quote is there because there’s a weird format that’s being used

I use the left, mid, right functions to create 3 new cells that can be combined
