My wife grew up with a set of cousins as if they were sisters. Last night or early this morning, the husband of one of my wife's cousins/sisters killed himself. He left 3 young kids. While we lived 8 hours a way from each other and only saw each other a few times I did get to spend several weeks camping with him at a yearly reunion and also spent a few days at his house a couple of years ago. I wish I knew he was struggling. I wish I could have had a relationship with him that I could have been a source to him when things got hard. The family is in total shock. Please, if you feel suicide is the answer, please consider other alternatives.
