not in California. I live in Oregon and I found our minivan in CA.
The dealership fought me and told me that in CA it doesnt matter if the car is registered in OR you still have to pay the CA sales tax... Im still mad about that...

Yes. When you register the car in Utah you pay the difference between Utah sales tax and any smaller amount (like $0)
