And unfairness our players are subjected to on cougarboard that carries over to the stadium.
I don’t so much blame the people making the posts because I know they’re just parroting what they hear on Salt Lake media radio stations that start with an anti-BYU bias and project that. They never provide context or the benefit of the doubt when there’s an opportunity to drive division into the cougar fan base
They never talk about how Taysom Hill started in three different offenses with three different coordinators at BYU. That is pretty much unheard of. Does he get the benefit of the doubt? No
They never talk about how two of the three offense of coordinators used his skills rather than developed his skills. He was never judged by that standard. With him you only wanted to talk about what he didn’t do.
He literally had the worst receivers in the history of Brigham Young University for dropping passes. In multiple games there were double digit drops and many Drive ending drops. For whatever reason the media never took this into account and neither did cougarboard
They said he didn’t have an NFL arm, he clearly has an NFL arm.
They said he couldn’t make it at that level and stay healthy, he has clearly made it at that level and stayed healthy.
He never had the benefit of an adoring fan base. I still remember him being booed in favor of Mangum and shaking my head at the ignorance.
When the Salt Lake Yewt media talking heads sew this type of division in the Fanbase they promote it and it creates a narrative. That unfair narrative hurt taysom and his chances at being drafted.
They all tried this act with Wilson too and Most of the people that thought Wilson should be benched were the same people that that taysom should as well. I guess their track record isn’t looking too good these days.
If you were wrong with both Hill and Wilson you might want to take a break with your judgment regarding the next quarterback
