He hasn’t shown the ability go through progressions

That’s the big knock on him. The offense at Ohio state was Primary receiver, check down and run. Many QB’s can’t simply just go and learn this. Maybe he can, but Northwestern ran a defense designed to make him go through his progressions to find the open receiver, and he really struggled.
