Shaq Harrison was not a bad player with either the Bulls or Jazz, and had thought he might crack Utah’s rotation. He was a pretty good defender in Chicago, but had to play behind not just Mitchell and Conley, but Clarkson and Oni. I believe they let him go because they knew he would not be in the Jazz rotation and deserved a chance to play. Oni has really improved, as has Brantley. Throw in the new guy, Thomas, and Forest, and you have some serious scoring guard power. Good move by the Jazz to let him go, but I am happy for Shaq and the hard work he put in. They say he really pushed the starters in practice.
