Get set up on a number of exchanges: Binance US, Voyager, Kraken, Coinbase Pro, BitForex.
Voyager (pays great interest - 5.25 - 8% for holding BTC, LTC, ADA, DOT, and USDT). has some small cap gems as well that may not be listed on other exchanges. don't trade on voyager as they bake in higher fees into price points that you buy and sell at. just HODL coins there.
Binance US (has a good variety of alt coins plus all the stable coins) and is growing rapidly with great projects, low trading fees, and offers some staking.

Set up a Wallet (MetaMask, TrustWallet) to hold any cryptos that you aren't going to be staking.

Start dollar cost averaging into projects that have good teams, good tech, and good utility. Do a little research or let others do it for you. JRNY CRYPTO and Dan from CCV are 2 I follow on youtube and twitter to learn more about the industry, projects, hidden gems, trends, etc.

Don't buy any coin at it's all-time high. Wait for the dips to buy in.

Don't FOMO all your money into any one project.

Take profits when you can, but don't ever cash out completely in projects you believe in long term.

Make at least 50-75% of your buys from the stable coins - LTC, BTC, ETH.

Stake every coin that you can - earn interest - free cryptos, just by holding it in whatever platform pays the highest returns.

BUY ADA, OMI, LTC, BTC!!!

Also - be patient. There are lots of dips. Volatility is part of life as a crypto investor. It is extremely hard. Zoom out frequently when stressing over big dips. If you believe in the project, never sell when it dips, just look at it like discount time and buy more via dollar cost averaging.
