I use to think the NBA put out a "better product" than college basketball.
But objectively looking at the regular season, is it better? NBA teams don't care about regular season games and it shows. They don't try. They rest their best players. They tank for better draft picks. If you randomly watch a NBA regular season game, the chances of it being good aren't that high. I don't care if there's more talent in the NBA if it shows that they aren't trying.

There's this attitude among the media, that the regular season doesn't matter. That only the post season matters. So why do we watch the regular season of it "doesn't matter"?
