Not as much as some CB whales, but it will do.

Here’s the thing, I have basically zero interest in day trading, and largely want to buy and hold something/somethings that will have a substantial increase in value over the next 5-10 years. Basically, What are the coins (if any) that have real, long-term secular tailwinds behind them?

I am thinking that starting a portfolio like below will leave me with some long term upside heavily weighted towards “blue chip” crypto’s (which I have a hard time typing with a straight face) but still leave a bit to put into the speculative stuff:

$10K Bitcoin (am generally bullish on this as long-term store of value, solving for 5-10 year horizon not too worried about volatility)

$5K Ethereum (worried I’m buying at the top so less sure about this one but seems like a longer term bet on something with more functionality than bitcoins simple store of value)

$5K spread out in smaller bets on some up and comers (not sure which yet)

I’m totally new to crypto and realize it’s still the Wild West, input welcome on what your strategy would be.
