He went to the U and went on a mission to Guatemala. He learned Kaqchikelin in addition to Spanish. Through some sort of program with BYU he agreed to help develop a Kaqchikel, English, Spanish dictionary with the agreement that he would receive college credit. He was counting on those credits to receive his bachelor’s.

He got into dental school and has been a practicing dentist for many years. The dictionary was finished but he never received those credits. Never got his bachelors.

He remains a Ute fan but is less bitter than you’d think.
