The drop isn't strange at all. He announced he had epilepsy, and teams are rightfully concerned.
He manages his epilepsy with medication, and he certainly has performed well.
But that's a risk that many teams probably didn't want to take such a huge, multi-million dollar gamble on. There is strong evidence that concussions can increase the frequency and severity of seizures. But, honestly, who knows.
