And then there was his frequent mentioning of how fans booed him in his first season and how that irritated him. Or how he would take jabs at away games and say that he wished he that kind of support at home games.
And whether he was right or wrong in his criticism doesn't matter. When you are a high profile figure, you don't take that road. You take the high road. Kalani has done a great job of rising above the criticism and instead focusing on the good and appreciating and thanking those that support him.
