Ozark (Missouri) JROTC National Champions
I'm not sure the proper category, but at least one of these events (air rifle) would widely be considered a sport.
My brother is the head of their high school JROTC. He reports no other high school has ever held two national championships in separate disciplines at the same time (although Ozark accomplished this feat themselves 7 years ago).
This year they won a national championship in air rifle; then a couple of months ago they went to Georgia and won the Raider Challenge national championship (Events take place outdoors and usually consist of individual strength test (push-ups, tire-drag, obstacle course, etc), distance team running events, first aid events, and some form of rope bridge contstruction/crossing), and he reports this past weekend they were in Alabama where their male team won the armed drill competition and the females won the unarmed national championship. So, they now simultaneously hold three national championships in three separate disciplines.

Sure, lots of people don't care much about this stuff, but it's still pretty impressive. These leaders and youth are absolutely crazy, getting up at 5:00 and earlier regularly for practices, etc. Honestly, I wonder if my brother is a bit too singularly focused, and maybe missing out on other parts of life. But it must be rewarding to these dedicated kids seeing all their hard work paying off.
