I agree. He wasn't PSU's PG. And he's not even much a shooter, I don't think.
He could be an awesome defender of both the 1 & 2, though. The kid is an absolute animal of an athlete. Reminds me of a larger, longer Bartley. He can definitely score at the rim, too. And has an okay jumper (kinda weak, though).
If he has at least decent handles (couldn't really confirm from his highlights), he MIGHT work as a combo-guard complement to AB or SJ. (Assuming AB & Spence work their offseason butts off improving his handles.)
Regardless, I want this kid. His defensive versatility would be right up there with George. Playing he, George, Lohner & Baxter/Haarms in the same starting 5 — now that could be pretty electric! And defensively dominant.
I gotta believe Pope wants this kid in a bad way.
