100% true - the Utes had no one drafted this year and no signings from recent graduates, while BYU had its best year on the field and with the draft in years.
Injuries, Covid-19, and shortened season didn't really help the Utah players who were allegedly on NFL teams' radar. Ford (OL), Lloyd (LB), Kuithe (TE) are probably all going to be drafted next year and would have been this year (in theory) if they'd had a longer season and been healthy / not impacted by Covid.
Next year, assuming they have solid years and stay healthy, there's probably 3 or 4 guys with strong possibilities of being drafted (not including Covey who some people think could be a late round pick due despite his size...but who knows). There's a few other guys who could peak this season or develop who could make a roster or get picked on day 2 or 3. We'll see. At this point, I just want to see regular football again and see the Utes compete again.
With regard to the past 12 months or so, BYU absolutely has bragging rights. They also had a better season too.
