The city of Sacramento just passed a city ordinance that will allow fire fighters, code enforcement, and similar people
to patrol for illegal fireworks, and when they observe illegal fireworks launched from an address, they mail a $1k-$2500 citation. The owner of the property then has to fight the citation with the bureaucrats. Previously, law enforcement had to witness the illegal fireworks and then they would make an arrest.

But it seems to me that you get around this by launching the fireworks from the street (like many people do anyway). Right?
