I feel we're just scratching the surface of EV's potential, imagine what they'll look like in 10 years. Also I've learned from researching DIY Solar that EVs use a ton of electricity.
The biggest battery packs are 100 kwh which is over three times the total electricity used by the average American home in a whole day. If you're thinking of going solar, it makes sense to oversize your system if you're planning on buying an EV in the near future.
