I can't believe that Tesla is releasing a production EV with 520+ miles of range
that can go from 0-60 in less than 1.9 seconds (that's faster than a Formula 1 and Indy Car) and will do the quarter mile in less than 9 seconds (that's insane). I feel we're just scratching the surface of EV's potential, imagine what they'll look like in 10 years. Also I've learned from researching DIY Solar that EVs use a ton of electricity.

The biggest battery packs are 100 kwh which is over three times the total electricity used by the average American home in a whole day. If you're thinking of going solar, it makes sense to oversize your system if you're planning on buying an EV in the near future.
