running, jumping, throwing, shuttle blocks and so forth. Every year I qualified in everything but throwing the softball. I not only qualified in the others, but a PE teacher told me I was in the top 3%.
So I'm about 17 and watching a baseball game. They showed all the pitches some guy could make and showed how he gripped the ball. It was only at this point in my life that I found out I had been throwing a palm ball my whole life. Neither my Dad or any little league coach had noticed it and shown me the correct way to throw. Amazing how much harder and further you can throw when you hold the ball with your fingers.
