You'll start to feel this shimmy as you drive...
When I come to a stop now, when it's shifting down, I feels like someone is rear-ending me. It's a real hard shift, especially from 2nd to 1st.
In my Colorado I felt a shimmy as if I was driving over a really pumpy road. And it will be loud

Might be a TSB on the 8-speed soon. The 6 and 10 seem solid but the 8 speed is seeing issues across the truck/suv lineup
