His space time errors in Star Trek and Star Wars are both egregiously irritating. Watching in real time from a planet in one star system as Starkiller base (in another star system) blows up a 3rd different star system. It's like he's never A: Understood the concept of the speed of light, and B: Never understood the vast distances between star systems for said light to traverse.

He had similar goofs in Star Trek. Mostly related to warp speed and pretty much getting from one place to another almost instantaneously. In Star Trek: Enterprise, it was established that it was 4 days at warp 4.5 to get from Earth to the Klingon home world. Yet, in Star Trek Into Darkness, not only does Khan beam himself from Earth to Qo'nos (ugh), but the Enterprise is only at warp for minutes to travel from Earth to the Klingon Empire and back.
