I had a ridiculous one last night that I’m still shaking my head over. I was sitting at a red light but looking ahead at the light at the next intersection. The light I was looking at turned green and I hit the gas, even though the light at my intersection was red. When a car turning left from the oncoming direction veered in front of me I honked at him like an idiot before being informed by my wife that our light was actually red.

I’ve been kicking myself ever since wondering how the heck I could have done that and wondering if I am a danger to the public. Grateful I didn’t get anyone killed.

Anyone else ever had a ridiculous mental lapse like that?
