VERY MILD SPOILER - Weird reaction to the opening scene of Tenet. I recently saw
the opening scene for the first time (I got interrupted and I haven't seen the rest yet). Now for the mild spoiler part:

The movie opens with symphony on stage. Armed dudes move in and shoot the conductor. I thought to myself, "Okay. Here's how it starts." Other armed dudes rush the stage. One guy grabs a bass and throws it down hard. I audibly gasped. Then another guy smashed a cello. And I winced.

Dude gets shot in the back? Nothing. A couple of musical instruments get ruined and I'm uncomfortable.

At first I wondered if I've come to value human life too little. Then I realized that I knew the conductor was an actor that really didn't get shot. But two real instruments actually got destroyed. I felt better about myself when I figured that out.
