Start Taysom Hill and encourage him to use all of his skills..not just passing. Be the unicorn that he is. If he dominates and Payton is loving his shiny toy, then Jameis goes on his merry way after next year.

If Taysom doesn't produce the first few weeks, you move on to Jameis and no harm no foul. Taysom goes back to being a swiss army knife for as long as he can and the Saints have both weapons.

Unless Jameis is heads above better than Taysom..if you don't pick Taysom I think you will definitely lose him to another team and if he doesn't feel he was treated fairly I am not sure his heart will be in it anymore. He wants a real shot at being a QB and I don't think he feels it needs to be with the Saints.

Now Payton might decide Taysom already had his shot last year and he has seen enough...but if that was the case, he wouldn't be encouraging Taysom to train 100% for the QB competition during the offseason.
