My three least-favorite Seinfeld episodes (The Finale is NOT on the list)
I know The Finale got a lukewarm reaction (at best) from the public at large (which was tantamount to a disaster, given the expectations), but I always thought it was pretty good. I mean, they get sent to jail? I couldn't possibly think of a better ending to this show and for this group.

But anyway, reading the linked post got me thinking about my personal list of least-favorite episodes. Here they are, in order:

3. The Dog (season 3). This is the one where Jerry meets the drunk guy on the plane and gets roped into taking care of the dog. I find the dog so annoying. It's just so hard for me to get into this episode (though I gotta say, I love the George, Elaine and Kramer storylines. They're so good. George and Elaine find out they can't be alone together, and Kramer breaks up with, and then gets back together with, and then breaks up with his awful girlfriend).

2. The Puerto Rican Day Parade (Season 9). Seinfeld kinda ran out of gas in season nine, and this episode was "way past the line" to use a line from another episode. I did love George's zinger during the Hindenburg blimp movie ("That's gotta hurt!"), and Elaine's judgement of the pregnant woman during the parade escape ("don't you judge me!"), but overall this episode was just too zany for me.

1. The Seinfeld Chronicles (Season 1). I know this is probably sacrilegious for a Seinfeld zealot such as I am, but I find the pilot episode the hardest to watch. Maybe it's because it's just so different than every other episode--the waitress, Kramer's dog (and weirdly normal hairdo), Jerry's funky apartment.

Despite all this, you've got to love the Sein. I think I may go back and watch them all in order. I've just been feasting on syndication all these years.
