Received a letter from her work that her FMLA was exhausted and she would be terminated next Friday. Gave her some options to apply for medical leave of absence with no guarantee of coming back to work.

I can see how people with mental illness end up homeless. Have to take leave due to treatments, get bounced around from MD to MD, then get fired. She has been at Huntsman Mental Institute inpatient twice this year.

She will lose her job, won't have health insurance or income. I'm going through her documents to see what we can do. I'm at a loss.

Any ideas?
