legitimate last second shot or a Hail Mary prayer. If it's just a grab the ball and throw it toward the basket they don't count it as a shot.
The funny thing is, I have also noticed that a lot of players are not doing that, which makes me wonder if they don't know that the official scorekeeper has basically been told to give them the benefit of the doubt.
I have also noticed, Donovan Mitchell takes that every time. Dude doesn't care whether the scorekeeper is going to give him the benefit of the doubt or not. I definitely respect that.
