I'm ok with paying for some extras, and I definitely don't travel on a tight budget, but one thing that I really have a hard time with is paying for parking. I can't stand it. And mandatory valet parking is the worst. It's not even the tipping thing, but the inconvenience of calling for your car and waiting around on the valet while you're paying $40/night is far worse than simply walking somewhere to retrieve my own car.
