Here are the major problems that I’ve observed:
Signage sucks. The pick up curbs are not long enough to equip the number of vehicles coming to pick up folks, especially at peak hours. The park and wait is situated in a ridiculous spot. The distance from screening to the end of the B Concourse is 2/3 mile.
Problems that are exaggerated:
Waiting times at screening. True at 5 am the line at times curves around the baggage carousels, but TSA has over 15 lines and most are operational at that time. I’ve seen that line disappear in 20 minutes.
I do feel for older folks, disabled folks, and those in bad shape. If that is you, I’d just plan ahead and add an extra 45 minutes to casually walk to your gate or get a wheelchair (though those seem to be hard to come by).
I think over the last seven months they are beginning to iron some things out.
Rumor is the director is more concerned about aesthetics than functionality. Don’t know if that is fair to say or not, but change has been sloooooow.
Just show up a half hour earlier than you used to and things will be fine. My opinion.
