94 made a number of cheap hits throughout the game, including that play, a late hit/roughing the passer non-call, and a late hit out of bounds non-call. It's mind boggling to me that the coaches didn't just make life miserable for 94 from that point on (double-teams, cracks, traps, etc.) and that players didn't take matters into their own hands a time or two as well.
We had been hearing for weeks that this BYU team was more physical, more dominant, and more willing to go for the kill, and instead they folded against a much smaller CCU team.
I always hate it when a team waits for the refs to bail them out. There were ways (both inside and outside of the rules) to fix 94's shenanigans.
