Anyone on here used a consultant for graduate admissions

I'm thinking of going back for an MBA and trying to improve my shot at some of the top tier schools.

Have any of you used a consultant for law, MBA, med school etc? Did you think it was worth it? How did you go about choosing the company/consultant?

Paying a ton to a consultant to do work you can better handle in-house? That is a key MBA skill in the business world.
