from ovarian cancer a couple weeks ago. She left behind my friend and their 4-year-old little girl. They have spent the last 18 months in strict quarantine to give her the best chance of proper treatment without exposure to Covid. I haven't been able to see him at all until the funeral last week.

He's a passionate Jazz fan. We yelled till our throats hurt, and our hands stung from all the high-fives haha. I'm getting a little emotional thinking about how that was probably the most fun he's had in 18 months. After all he's been through, I'm grateful the Jazz put on a show and gave us a memorable ending.
