That they let him go then immediately rehired him shouldn’t reset his clock. From the employment litigation I’m familiar
with, this would be a slam dunk. And it would likely just be settled cause the company would know it’s a slam dunk.

This whole idea that following the letter of the law/contract etc is bullet proof in court is just wrong.
